Learn Cybersecurity with Angie
I have some amazing mentors, so I am sharing to try to help the next person... This is my first website and blog, so watch for it to grow!
I also hope you enjoy the gratuitous pictures of my awesome dog! He is a rescue whose mama was a little pit bull and daddy is a mystery... He is definitely NOT a high tide dog.
About me...
I have always been interested in computers. As a child, my dad and I played on an IBM/PS2 computer and I learned about DOS.
At work, the help desk technicians know that I've already tried to at least troubleshoot my issues before I call them. I don't call for the easy, small stuff.
I had an opportunity to help launch a new Automated Vehicle Scheduling system when I worked at Ford, and thoroughly enjoyed learning about how the system worked. I was the tester they chose to find the bugs in the program, so I got to work closely with the IT team who created the program in order to fix the bugs. In a relatively short amount of time, the team considered me an expert on the new program. I even helped train the users at other plants.
That opportunity really piqued my interest in digging deeper into IT. When I found this Cybersecurity Bootcamp program through ODU, I knew I had to check it out. I enjoy cybersecurity because there is always something new to learn and to figure out, and it is all very logical... except when it isn't ;-).
